I have been using UE3 / Wwise for some time and love the integration. I am looking forward to an upcoming MAC project with UE4 and Wwise, if they get the integration figured out in time. In my UE3 / Wwise game we are doing Ray Casting for our Occlusion and it is basically line of sight. It works well and is efficient on CPU.
