If this thing wasn't so expensive I would probably buy it. But check it out, a train horn in the palm of your hands! You could probably record some really clean Dopplers out of a car with it.

Yeah, that's a wee bit pricey for one sound designer to grab. On the other hand, if you know someone at the local high school or college who might have bought one (to deafen their players with a 130dB train blast in an enclosed space at close range at the start of a football game), it could possibly be borrowed.

(And I just checked my local schedules – high school football regular season ends this Friday...)
