Who's still buying a Mac Pro?

Now that they are ready to purchase and the price is out, who is still considering picking up one of these? They are definitely cool but, man...is it worth it? I priced one out and with upgrading the memory, SDD, and graphics card, it came out to nearly $6,600. That doesn't even include a mouse and keyboard. Hah!

Would love to get one but priced one similarly high and that's just too much for early adopter "playing around". I'm going to wait and skip the first generation and maybe pick up a "newly" used "standard" Mac Pro. My 2008(!) model is still doing a great job on nearly everything I throw at it (only issue can be the occasional extremely large session with video but easy to work around) so I'm not in a hurry. Let's see where this goes I am thrilled though as I like the concept and size but not sure about expandability.

ProTools 11 has breathed fresh life in my 2010 mac pro purchase. By the time I need another Gen 2 should be released. I love the look, design and specs of these
