Using an iPad or tablet for sound design

Post by MikeQuell » September 5th, 2013, 8:40 am

With new iPads incoming within the next few months I was wondering how many people regularly use one for sound design. What has your experience been like and what's your favorite software to use with it?

David Farmer has an interesting video up using V-Control from Neyrinck which seems pretty rad. But as far as content creation goes, how have you that have had an iPad in your workflow for a while now been using it? Or have you even been using it at all?

Thanks!

I use my iPad for some of the work I do; specifically, I use Animoog, Samplewiz, Yamaha's TNR-1 (The Tenori-on app) and occasionally Filtatron. Most of those apps are used for composition, but I do use Samplewiz and Animoog for sound design. I'd love to hear what other folks are using.
